Hangul first, and quickly

Hangul is a designed alphabet rather than an inherited script, and most students read it inside a week. This is a real advantage. You are working with the actual language almost from the start instead of transliteration.

What takes time is sentence structure, which is ordered differently from English and Urdu, and the levels of formality that change verb endings depending on who you are speaking to.

TOPIK and what it opens

• TOPIK I covers levels 1 and 2, beginner.
• TOPIK II covers levels 3 to 6, with your level determined by your score.
• Korean universities commonly expect level 3 or above for admission to Korean-taught degrees on the D-2 student visa; some admit at a lower level with a language year attached.
• Graduation frequently requires a higher level than admission did, which students discover late.
• The EPS employment route for Pakistani workers runs through its own Korean language test rather than TOPIK.

Studying in Korea

The D-2 student visa needs an admission letter from a recognised institution plus financial evidence held in your name. Universities set their own language conditions, and a language programme before the degree is a common and accepted route.

English-taught programmes exist, particularly at postgraduate level, but part-time work permissions and daily life both assume Korean.

How our courses run

Hangul and basic structures in the opening weeks, then TOPIK-aligned levels with listening and reading drilled against the exam format. Speaking is practised throughout even though TOPIK does not score it, because a student arriving on a D-2 needs it from the first day.
