Do I need a B1 or a B2 visa?

B1 covers business travel: meetings, negotiations, a conference, a trade fair. B2 covers tourism, family visits and medical treatment. Most applicants are issued the combined B1/B2, but you still have to pick a primary purpose and be consistent about it from the DS-160 through to the interview desk.

Neither category allows you to work in the United States, and answering as though it might is one of the quicker ways to lose the application.

How does USA visit visa filing work?

There are six steps. We do the first five with you. The decision is made by the US embassy.

Why does the DS-160 matter so much?

The DS-160 is a long online form, and applicants treat it as paperwork to be finished. The consular officer has it open on screen while they talk to you. Every inconsistency between what is typed there and what you say out loud is visible to them instantly.

We complete it with you in one sitting, so travel history, employment dates, family details and previous visa applications are recorded the way you would describe them if asked. The confirmation page and barcode are what you carry to the appointment; there is no second chance to correct a submitted form without starting over.

Where are US visa interviews held in Pakistan?

Pakistani applicants are seen at the US Embassy in Islamabad or the Consulate General in Karachi. Booking runs through the official appointment service after the MRV fee is paid, and wait times swing a great deal through the year. Early booking matters more than almost anything else you can control.

Some renewal applicants qualify to submit without appearing in person. Whether you do depends on your previous visa and how recently it expired, and it is worth checking before you assume you need an interview slot at all. If you are travelling for urgent medical or humanitarian reasons there is a separate expedited request route, which is granted on evidence, not on urgency alone.

What does the US visa interview test?

It is short. Often under three minutes. The officer is testing whether your stated purpose, your finances and your ties to Pakistan hold together under a few direct questions, and whether you answer them like someone describing their own life or someone reciting an answer.

• Why this trip, why now, and who is paying for it.
• What you do here, and what happens to it while you are away.
• Who you are visiting, and how you know them.
• What brings you back: employment, business, property, dependants, studies.

Where we spend our time

Coaching is not scripting. We run the interview with you until your answers are short, true and consistent, and we work on the two or three questions your particular profile invites, such as a gap in employment, a sponsor abroad or a first-time traveller with no visa history. Rehearsed answers are easy to spot; prepared ones are not.

Alongside that we assemble the supporting file: financial evidence that matches your declared means, proof of your ties here, and an itinerary that fits both. You will not be handed a folder of documents you cannot explain.

How much does USA visit visa filing cost, and what does it cover?

The filing fee is PKR 30,000 per applicant, paid in advance, so a family of two pays PKR 60,000. There is no success fee. The first consultation is free, and nothing is charged until you decide to go ahead.
